Staff Highlight: Chris Raybon

Meet Chris Raybon – the subject of today’s staff highlight. Chris is a Banquet Captain at Cannon Green in Charleston, S.C. He has lived in Charleston since the 6th grade, and currently attends the College of Charleston, studying hospitality and tourism management. Chris enjoys skateboarding and spending time with good friends.

When/Where did your interest in the restaurant industry begin? How long have you been working at Cannon Green?
My first job was at the Belle Hall Moe’s southwest grill which was and may still be the 15th busiest Moe’s in the country. I enjoyed the fast pace environment and the close bonds I built with team members. Working there taught me to work quickly and with purpose. I started working at Cannon Green in November of 2015, so I have been here about a year and a half.
What’s your favorite part about working at Cannon Green?
My favorite part about working at Cannon Green is the spontaneity. Each event brings a different group of people and an entirely different experience.
What’s your favorite dish on the menu?
My favorite dish on the menu is the Raviolo.
What do you like to do in Charleston in your time off?
Go to the beach or see a good concert.
